Gogebic County Parks Information
GOGEBIC COUNTY PARKS ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
*Tentative Opening of May 7, 2027.
Nightly and monthly campground reservations open the second Monday in January at 8:30 a.m. CST.
Before occupying a site, reserve through the online system linked on each park’s page. Policy permits one reservation per site occupant/date range, and each reservation must include the site occupant’s information. Reservations that violate this policy are subject to cancellation. Refunds will not be considered for early departures or acts of nature.
Public Wi-Fi is unavailable, and cellular service can be unreliable.
If you cannot arrive on your scheduled date, you must notify the park to avoid being considered a no-show.
*By completing a reservation with Gogebic County Parks, you agree to follow the park rules and policies established by the Gogebic County Forestry & Parks Commission.

BEACH QUALITY MONITORING
Local health departments are authorized to sample and evaluate water quality at public bathing beaches according to the Michigan Public Health Code, P.A. 368 of 1978. This law also mandates that all designated public bathing beaches post a sign onsite stating whether or not the water quality has been monitored.Weekly correspondence and sampling will be done by the Western UP Halth Department Environmental Health Technicians. Results and advisories may be accessed via the Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy website at:
