Established by Gogebic County in 1920, Little Girl’s Point County Park is a rustic recreational facility on the shores of Lake Superior at E1930 Lake Road in Ironwood, Michigan. The campground offers 29 electric campsites with 30–50 amp power and 2 non-electric campsites for nightly or monthly reservations.

 

An on-site tanker provides potable water to fill containers only. Campsites do not have direct water connections, and the park has no dump station. Because the park is in a remote location, we recommend filling your water tank before traveling here.

 

​Enjoy Lake Superior views, walking trails, and recently updated playground equipment. The mouth of Oman’s Creek, within the park boundaries, provides boating access. Camping, swimming, fishing, rock hounding, boating, and sightseeing offer additional ways to experience the park and Lake Superior.

 

On most days, the Porcupine Mountains are clearly visible to the west and the Apostle Islands to the northwest. The camping season brings spectacular sunsets, while the off-season winter months often bring massive ice formations along the beach.

 

Day-use amenities include walking paths, Lake Superior beach access, playground equipment, picnic areas, and vault restrooms. Picnic pavilions can be reserved online for social gatherings for $50 per day.

Policy permits one reservation per site occupant/date range. Each reservation must include the site occupant’s information. Reservations that violate this policy are subject to cancellation. For further assistance, contact the park office directly.
